  2. This is important because if you leave the light on and you go out of the room, your electric bill will go up.

  4. The Disney's Project Green caught my eye. This made us wonder if we are a part of it. As well as saving energy, we will save animals by saving energy.

  7. NH says: I think that the house of pressure was interesting. I didn't know it had so many places where air could go in and out of the house. I think it was amazing how many places there were in the house.

  8. MD says: "This video shows you to to outside and stop watching so much TV. Not only is it bad for your brain, but it also wastes energy. The more you use it, the more money you have to pay for your bills. This video also says there's power in the choices we make, so each choice effects energy."

  9. DP says: "I think it's surprising that so many places lose energy, but you don't realize it. For example, sometimes I leave the windows in my room open, but I didn't know the heat would try to warm it up again and then I am wasting energy."

  10. JN says: (regarding the video bar) I think it's neat that you can make a bed out of all natural materials so our landfills don't just get even bigger. Also, I didn't know that beds had dangerous materials in them and, if so, does mine? When Wesson came to our school, it was such a treat to see all the new ways to save energy and the environment.

  11. ZS says: I was very surprised to hear now much energy was escaping my house because I thought that closing doors and windows was enough to save energy. I guess not because our house is old. There are probably thousands of leaks in it. My basement is dirst so we probablyhave lots of moisture. I was glad to see that you guys are taking care of our county. I'm moving, so I'm not going to be able to register totakecare of our house. I learned a lot from this 5 minute video.

  12. AD says (re Nature'es Draft detective) It's really cool how spiders make their way into your house using a crack that drafts go through. Then they build a web near the draft so they can catch insects that come in through the crack. You should air seal near spider webs so drafts, buts and water can't get into your house.

  13. AH says: The House of Pressure was really neat. I didn't realize it could really work! I cannot belive we have all of the items in our house that can effect energy. I thought it was great information.

  14. AC says: I learned that it is very important to save energy. For example where thereis a place that energy is escaping from your house, it's basically sending money out the window while your electric bill is going up. Also, if you leave something using energy on in a room and then you leave the room, you are wasting energy. That is why, whenever you can, you should save energy! Saving energy, even in our school, is highly important!

  15. HE says: (re insulation above the kitchen) I can't believe that grease could get caught in insulation. A question I have is if insulation is so fine that you need a gas mask, then how can something like grease get trapped in it?

  16. AM says: (re: pictures of energy in our school) The pictures really helped us on our understanding of energy. From those pictures of the various places, it seems that our school has someenergy leakage, like in the generator picture. Some energy is being wasted through the vents. Thanks for taking your time to teachus about energy awareness.

  17. BB I think that the new thermostats are cool because you can change the temperature of your house while you are away. Thank you for coming to our school!

  18. AR says: I was surprised at how much energy it takes to run a school. We need so many different machines to make all the energy. Some of the things you showed us, I didn't even know we had! It makes me wonder what my house uses for energy.

  23. LB says: I learned that if you're not using something like a light, and you don't turn it off, you are wasting energy. I liked the Energy Hog video that teaches kis how to save energy in a funny way. The Send it On video shows kids that something little can help do a big thing and tells you to keep going green. I also liked Disney's Project Green which teaches kids lots of important information such as recycling.
